Igor Rataj (born 3 November 1973 in Poprad) is a Slovak professional ice hockey player who played with HC Slovan Bratislava in the Slovak Extraliga. He also played for HK Poprad, Amur Khabarovsk, HC Bílí Tygři Liberec, HC Znojemští Orli, HC Plzeň, HC Slavia Praha and HC Košice. Ice hockey is a team sport played on ice, in which skaters use wooden or composite sticks to shoot a hard rubber puck into their opponent's net. In regions where it is popular, the game is often referred to simply as hockey. The game is played between two teams with six players on the ice.
